Gear Checks & Aid Stations

There will be no compulsory gear check, however please use your common sense if the weather is bad or marginal. You will be heading out over remote farmland and reaching elevations of over 700m where it can be very cold if the weather is bad. Be responsible for your own safety!

Aid stations with water and first aiders will be about 10kms apart. However, if you think you will need more hydration or food it is your responsibility to carry it to ensure your own safety.

The events are all loop races so will start and finish in the same location. Super easy!

Prizegiving

All finishers will receive a medal.

Prize giving will be held for all participants at 1.00pm – we acknowledge that not everyone will have finished at this stage; however we are aware people will want to travel home after their event.

Junior: Under 14 | Teens – 14 to 19 years | Open: 20 – 39 | Master: 40 – 49 | Veteran: 50 – 59 | Legend: 60 +

No Disposable Cups

As trail runners and mountain bikers we’re keen to do our part to protect our beautiful planet and reduce the environmental impact of our events.

As such we will not have disposable cups at aid stations. Please remember your reusable cup, hydration pack or water bottle to fill up!

E-BIKERS

If you are entering the 40kms you must be sure that you’re battery will last for long enough to get you through the distance with the amount of climbing involved in this loop (nearly 1400m). We are offering to do a spare battery drop at the 21km mark. You will need to hand in your spare battery to the registration tent by 8am before the start of your event.
